Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, passive, and meditative style of yoga that involves holding seated or reclined poses for extended periods (usually 3-5 minutes) to deeply stretch and hydrate the body's connective tissues, such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. It offers a balance to the more active, muscle-focused "yang" yoga styles, focusing instead on a deep, internal, and calming practice to increase flexibility, mobility, and inner stillness.

A sound bath is a form of sonic meditation to help unwind the mind. Soothing instruments create a tapestry of calming sounds drift off to and rest, while lying comfortably on the ground.

Inspired by slowness, the intention of slow–space is to create a calm and peaceful space to rest.
During my Yoga teacher training I came into contact with sound baths and felt enchanted by the soothing sounds of singing bowls, chimes, rain columns and the likes.
I think these sound-scapes offer a wonderful way to dive into a sphere of relaxation and slowing down. Yet they are also an invitation to listen more closely to our surroundings – to the sounds that are usually overpowered by the busy tones of city life. A stream of water, chirping birds, the whirring of insects in a bush…
